Asiedu Nketia 'thank you tour' sparks 2028 presidential ambition campaign discussions

A "thank-you tour" by National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has seen political discussions within the party go into overdrive, with some giving their opinion that the three-day tour schedule is less about thanking people and more about positioning himself for the presidential campaign.

The tour, to be held between September 17 and 19, 2025, in 16 constituencies of the Eastern Region.

it is being strictly marketed as a sequel appreciation exercise by the NDC.

Party activists aver that it is to appreciate the work of executives, cadres, and grassroots mobilizers who labored for the NDC's electoral success in the 2024 elections
