President John Dramani Mahama and the First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama have arrived in New York for the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
They were welcomed by a group of Ghanaians resident in the United States of America.
During this time, President Mahama's engagements will focus on international peace and security, advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate action and regional economic integration.
These matters reflect Ghana's continued commitment to multilateralism and collective solutions to urgent global challenges
The President will speak to the General Assembly on Thursday, 25th September, 2025, during which he will outline Ghana's perspective on recent global events and reaffirm the country's stance as a
valuable partner in the quest for peace, sustainable development, and economic collaboration.
