The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially released the result of the 2025 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), with students being required to report to school from October 18, 2025.
In a press release, the GES officially informed all Regional Directors of Education of the release and directed them to immediately inform District Directors and school heads.
The service emphasized that the admission exercise must strictly abide by the official placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat.
The GES also warned against illegal admissions and indicated that no school can admit students outside the official list without a written authorization.
The announcement further indicated that any violation, such as unauthorized admissions, will face necessary administrative penalties.
Heads of institutions are instructed to maintain a smooth registration process as per the guidelines given. District Directors and Regional Directors are also to monitor and provide supervisory direction during the period of admission to ensure an open and effective one for the 2025 year.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to officially inform all Regional Directors of Education that the 2025 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results have been released
You are hereby directed to communicate this information promptly to all District Directors of Education and Heads of schools within your jurisdiction.
- Admission Process
Admission of students should strictly follow the placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat.
No school is permitted to admit students outside the official placement without prior written approval from GES. - Reporting and Registration
Placed students are to report to their schools from 18th October, 2025.
Heads of Schools are to ensure that registration is conducted smoothly and in accordance with the guidelines provided. - Compliance
Any infraction, including unauthorized admissions, will attract the necessary administrative sanctions.
Regional and District Directors are to monitor and provide the necessary supervisory support during the admission period.
