Ghanaian artist Sista Afia has revealed that she has had no serious relationship in eight years, not that she doesn't want to settle down, but because the person she loves so much loves her just the same.
Speaking while being interviewed by Delay, the musician admitted that her heart has been attached to one individual for a long time but the love is not reciprocated.
"There is someone I love but he doesn't love me. You know how ironic this world is? Somebody will want me on a silver platter, will pay for everything to be with you," she lamented.
She has never openly expressed herself to the man, but insists that she has shown clear signs she is interested. Unfortunately, he has not noticed or responded to them. "I mean we've been together for a very long time and there are signs I have shown but…I have time for him but he doesn't have time for me.". That's why I inform him that I love him more than the way he loves me," Sista Afia emotion-alated.
Several years of not receiving love in return haven't extinguished her optimism regarding the relationship and she hopes someday that he would recognize her commitment and take their relationship to the next level.
