The Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF), the world's largest and most significant entrepreneurship event, is officially planned to take place in Ghana from November 21-23, 2025, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
With a historic announcement, President John Dramani Mahama declared Ghana to be fully ready to host the festival, hosting thousands of foreign delegates at Accra's top La Palm Royal Beach Hotel & Resort.
The President promised that Ghana was ready to host what he had referred to as a "historic global event," indicating that the subject, "The AI-Powered Entrepreneur," was in harmony with his administration's vision of employing technology and artificial intelligence to boost innovation, create jobs, and stimulate national development.
He commended the Global Entrepreneurship Festival board for the trust placed in Ghana to host such a critical responsibility and congratulated them on their effort to create a platform where world leaders, policymakers, investors and entrepreneurs from across the globe are brought together.
President Mahama also confirmed his attendance and pledged his highest level of support to make the festival a huge success and averred that Ghana would not only hawk its culture and hospitality but also demonstrate the strength of its business climate to the entire world.Ghana real estate listings
He claimed that "Ghana is open, ready and committed to making GEF 2025 a landmark event in history.".
President Mahama explained that the hospitality further cemented Ghana as the gateway to Africa.
World platform
GEF is more than an event; it is a world platform propelling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by enterprise, innovation and inclusive cooperation.
The festival will have more than 10,000 on-site participants, more than 200 investors, involve 10 million online viewers, and have 100 exhibitors and more than 60 global speakers from more than 70 countries.
Activities
GEF 2025 will offer 12 events in three days' time, comprising conferences, networking, breakout sessions, business pitches to investors & venture capitalists, Global Recognition Award Gala, Hackathon, Innovations & Robotics Expo, Arts, Sports & Entertainment, International Trade Fair & Exhibitions, Global Leadership Forum, International Women's Congress, Fashion Show and Closing Concert.
These events will bring together world leaders, entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), technology innovators, C-suite executives and policymakers under one theme: "The AI-Powered Entrepreneur: Creating a Sustainable Planet."
