The Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has been enstooled as Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I by the chiefs and people of the Komenda Traditional Area.
The enstoolment was performed during the 2025 Komendaman Nyeyi Festival, which was celebrated on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The new stool name, Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I, is symbolic of honour and recognition for Professor Opoku-Agyemang's contributions to education, national development, and her adherence to the principles of leadership and service.
The ceremony was attended by rich cultural displays, traditional drumming, and dancing, as the Inhabitants of Komenda welcomed her as one of their own as a cherished leader and development partner.
Despite the completion of all traditional rights, the chiefs praised the Vice President for her dedication to the well-being of Ghanaians and wished that her enstoolment would further strengthen the relationship between the state and traditional authorities.
