Apostle Kwadwo Safo, Kristo Asafo Church Chancellor and founder of Kantanka Group of Companies is dead.
This was announced by his daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo, who was the former Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament and former Minister for Gender in a statement released on Sunday morning.
He died on Thursday, 11th September, 2025.
Apostle Kwadwo Safo in the years became an established preacher, inventor, innovator, physicist, chemist, biologist, agriculturalist and philanthropist.
Nickname 'The Star of Africa', he was also the brain behind the Great KOSA company network and the Chairman of the Kantanka Group of Companies.

THE PASSING OF APOSTLE KWADWO SAFO
With deep sorrow and great bereavement, the Safo Family and the Kristo Asafo Church sadly announce the peaceful passing of Ghana's man of God, world's greatest technological icon, philanthropist, agriculturalist, and industrialist affectionately referred to as "Kantanka, the African Star".
Our beloved Father passed on peacefully on Thursday, 11th September 2025.
Romans 14:8 states; "For if we live, we live to the Lord and if we die, we die to the Lord".
Apostle Safo was truly a genius, hope to many, an orphan's father. Ghana has truly lost a gallant son and a legend.
His unique character was developed through his life struggles, dreams, determination, courage, will and dedication to His calling and faith.
During the mourning period, we humbly request the general public to give respect and dignity to the privacy of the loved ones and relatives.
The funeral and burial procedures will be announced in due time within the next few days
